Auckland, New Zealand — Financial advisers seeking smarter ways to scale their business gathered at the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport on 28 July 2025 for the launch of A-Perform’s nationwide roadshow, titled “Grow + Optimise: Sustainable Growth for Financial Advisers.”
The event marked the first stop in a series of roadshows aimed at helping financial professionals find more efficient ways to grow, streamline operations, and build lasting client relationships in an increasingly competitive industry.
Sam Kodi, CEO of A-Perform and owner of Smart Adviser, opened the session with insights on leveraging networks, technology, and community to drive long-term success in the financial advisory space. Drawing from his experience building Smart Adviser and supporting hundreds of practices, Kodi encouraged attendees to focus on sustainable growth over short-term wins.

The event also featured a live Q&A panel with Karen Tourelle of Tourelle Lifebrokers and Edward Hempseed of The Insurance Place, who shared candid experiences as long-time clients of A-Perform. They spoke about the impact of outsourcing and practice optimisation on their businesses—from reclaiming personal time to scaling sustainably.
The session concluded with networking opportunities where attendees exchanged ideas and discussed real-life applications of the strategies shared.
